specialize in exquisitely curated vintage and precious materials,
designed in modern romantic pieces that are genuinely heirloom quality.
We believe that the crown should be as real as the queen wearing it, and
that each piece should hold its value through generations, as well as
being able to be worn to other events if desired.
materials are sourced by seasoned treasure hunters with trained eyes:
from auctions, from far-flung deadstock warehouses, and from private
collections. Each headpiece can be worn with the knowledge that it is
constructed with the best in antique and modern craftsmanship, and many
of the pieces additionally bear the distinction of being one of a kind.
believe that with the amount of focus and style today’s bride brings to
the planning of her day, the crowning accessory should hold up to the
standards of design, of quality, and of magic. Heather
Wells is a graduate of RISD, and a lifelong treasure hunter for vintage
materials in the wilds of New England. Her work with her company Bright
Lights Little City has been featured in Newsweek, Fab, and Uncommon
Goods. Heather was also featured demonstrating techniques in person on
the Martha Stewart Show. When she came across the precious cache of gold
and silver plated flowers from the 50’s that make up our Heritage
Collection, Heart of Gold was born.
